Remembering 04Jun2011

I know it may be crazy and overly sentimental but that is me, maybe I really am a true sap at heart.

Here is some of what I read to my sweetheart at our ring ceremony:

These hands that hold yours on our wedding day, the day when we promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever, these are the hands of your best friend, full of love for you. These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together we build our future. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch, will comfort you like no other. These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your mind. These are the hands that will countlesstimes wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow and tears of joy. These are the hands that will tenderly hold our children. These are the hands that will help you to hold our family as one. These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it. And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.

I love my darling husband and am so thankful to our Father in Heaven for all of the tears, all of the heartache all of the love and all of the joy that has brought me to be James' wife.
